Tampa FL. Update to Muslim Woman Beating her OWN HEAD on Coffee Table

Islamocide: The Bizarre Case of Fatima Abdallah--

I have written many an article on Sharia in America. I have written on Dearborn, MI where Sharia takes precedent over our Constitution. I have written on Portland, ME where the District Attorney refused to investigate a bombing by a Muslim. I have written about so called “honor” killings and how our courts treat these murders differently due to Islamic culture.

Now it seems that even murder can be covered up, called an accident and no one is even arrested, let alone charged.

Tampa is a major city on the west coast of Florida. According to the 2010 Census it had a population of 335,709. The Tampa Police Department has grown from its inception in 1887 to over 1000 sworn officers and 350 civilian and support staff personnel today.

The 2010 Census of the population of Tampa could have been 335,710 had it not been for the death of Fatima Abdallah on August 16, 2009.

Fatima’s death is coming up on two years, so why is this just now coming to light? According to the Tampa Bay Tribune article from May 20,....

A paedophile illegal immigrant who was allowed to stay in Britain claiming deportation would breach his human rights has finally deported from the UK after a legal battle that has cost taxpayers up to £100,000.

Zulfar Hussain, a convicted child-molester, had initially won a court fight to dodge being deported out of Britain last year because he has a wife and two children living here.

It is believed an immigration judge was presented with an application for a ''right to family life'' under Article Eight of the Human Rights Act - and agreed to let him return to his home in Blackburn, Lancs.

In prayer, Jews face Jerusalem but Muslims face Mecca

Jerusalem Unification Day has again been celebrated in Israel and throughout the world with the exception of that 7th century alternate universe: the Muslim world.

It marks 44 years since the amazing and miraculous event took place when the Jewish people’s 3,000 year old capital city was restored to the Jewish state in the 1967 Six-Day War.

Where Obama is Leading Israel.

In the aftermath of US President Barack Obama’s May 19 speech on the Middle East, his supporters argued that the policy toward Israel and the Palestinians that Obama outlined in that speech was not anti-Israel. As they presented it, Obama’s assertion that peace negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians must be based on the 1967 lines with agreed swaps does not mark a substantive departure from the positions adopted by his predecessors in the Oval Office.

Equating Anti-Semitism with ‘Islamophobia’

Did you know that Jews and Muslims have a shared history in Europe? That Muslims have “deep roots” on the European continent and that Muslims are as imperiled by “Islamophobia” as Jews are by anti-Semitism?

Nothing could be further from the truth, and yet the first Gathering of European Muslim and Jewish Leaders issued a statement on May 9th and just held a meeting in Brussels on May 30, 2011. Oddly enough, the meeting was organized by two American Jewish groups, Rabbi Marc Schneier’s Foundation For Ethnic Understanding and philanthropist Ronald Lauder’s World Jewish Congress, as well as by the European Jewish Congress.

US- to view major cyber attacks as acts of war-

If I recall correctly WE DID have a Major Power Grid go DOWN--The Northeast Corridor--It took out 6+ States-- very strange... anyway if THAT happens ....

WASHINGTON — The Pentagon has adopted a new strategy that will classify major cyber attacks as acts of war, paving the way for possible military retaliation, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday.

The newspaper said the Pentagon plans to unveil its first-ever strategy regarding cyber warfare next month, in part as a warning to foes that may try to sabotage the country's electricity grid, subways or pipelines.

"If you shut down our power grid, maybe we will put a missile down one of your smokestacks," it quoted a military official as saying......

One year on, Mavi Marmara gears up for second protest trip to Gaza Strip

Ships are due to depart from various European ports in an attempt to breach Israel's sea blockade. Israel has said the blockade is necessary to prevent weapons from reaching the territory.

Pro-Palestinian activists in Istanbul Monday marked the first anniversary of the Israeli commando raid on the Turkish ship the Mavi Marmara as it tried to break Israel's blockade of the Gaza Strip.

Nine Turkish passengers on the ship, which was part of a larger Gaza-bound flotilla, were killed in the confrontation. The Mavi Marmara has been refitted and is due to sail for Gaza one more time next month.

Pro-Palestinian Turkish activists gathered on the deck of the newly refurbished Mavi Marmara, marking the one year anniversary of the deadly raid, May 30, 2011.

An international coalition of activists said Egypt's opening of the Rafah crossing last weekend will not affect plans for a new flotilla. The move effectively ends the four-year closure on the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip.

GOP presidential contenders drift to the right

WASHINGTON (AP) — In the first presidential election since the tea party's emergence, Republican candidates are drifting rightward on a range of issues, even though more centrist stands might play well in the 2012 general election.

On energy, taxes, health care and other topics, the top candidates hold positions that are more conservative than those they espoused a few years ago.

The shifts reflect the evolving views of conservative voters, who will play a major role in choosing the Republican nominee. In that sense, the candidates' repositioning seems savvy or even essential.

But the eventual nominee will face President Barack Obama in the 2012 general election, when independent voters appear likely to be decisive players once again. Those independents may be far less enamored of hard-right positions than are the GOP activists who will wield power in the Iowa caucuses, the New Hampshire primary and other nominating contests....

Gaza: Jihadist Sheikh Yassin house declared heritage site

Below is the news write up from Leftist Ynetnews---I think they Leave out some pertanaint Facts--
Yassin founded HAMAS (you know the Terror org-whose charter calls for the annihilation of Israel)

Here's is a bit about Yassin--(just a bit) *groan*

Yassin was arrested in 1984 and sentenced to 13 years in jail for illegal possession of arms, the establishment of a military organization and calling for the annihilation of Israel. Yassin acknowledged that he founded an organization of religious activists with the goal of fighting non-religious factions in the territories, and carrying out "Jihad" operations against Israel. This organization used monies from Islamic activists in Jordan to acquire large quantities of weapons. Yassin was imprisoned until May 1985, when he was released in a prisoner exchange deal between Israel and the terrorist organization of Ahmed Jibril.

During the first intifada in 1987, Sedan notes, "Yassin transformed his Islamic Organization into a new body called Hamas. An acronym for the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas means zeal in Arabic. In Hebrew, it means evil." Source

YNET STORY (not really reporting now is it?  "Spiritual Leader? ) :

Hamas to open home of spiritual leader killed in 2004 to visitors, turning location into historical landmark
The Hamas government decided to open the home of its former spiritual leader and founder Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, who was assassinated in 2004, to visitors.

A Hamas official announced the decision will allow visitors to learn more about Yassin's "Jihadist career" as well as his activities against the "Israeli occupation."

"The goal is to commemorate his image in a place which saw him devote his life to the distribution of Islam," the official remarked.

Sheikh Yassin wheelchair

Hamas prime minister in Gaza Ismail Haniyeh gave his blessing to the project, saying: "It will help us revive the memory of the Sheikh amongst the Arab and Islamic population."

Visitors will be able to see the many pictures hanging in Yassin living room, including photos with such leaders as Former Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat. The wheelchair he used to get around the house and his conference room will also be on display.

Abu Bilal Yassin, the person tasked with maintaining the site, said the home embodies "the history of the Palestinian people's resistance as well as Yassin life."

Hamas made sure to preserve and display, for the first time ever, the wheelchair Yassin sat on when he was assassinated, as well as the blanket he covered himself with that day.

"We've transformed the house into cultural and intellectual reference points to show how modestly he lived. We'll open the house for visitors so they will learn about the Jihadist life of the Sheikh," Abu Bilal said.

VIDEOS :: How the PA Take Over Jerusalem :: Jerusalem Arabs to Israel: Don't Give Away Your Sovereignty

The Knesset Interior Committee will hear today from Jerusalem Arabs who do not want to come under control of the Palestinian Authority.
(I couldn't agree with them more)

The committee is holding a special session this morning regarding Israeli policy in the neighborhoods of eastern and northern Jerusalem.

Several MKs called for the Knesset to deal with the matter, in light of the creeping control that Israel is apparently allowing the PA to take over parts of the capital.

Islamists Project Islam’s Worst Traits Onto Christians

In recent weeks, we saw how the Muslim world’s obsession with gaining converts evinces, in the words of one Muslim intellectual, an “inferiority complex”—a deadly one at that.

As it happens, inferiority complex is not the only psychological ailment besetting the Muslim world: some Muslims are also projecting the worst traits of Islam onto the beleaguered Christian communities living among them.

Take Egypt’s Christian Copts, for example. Much of the recent violence inflicted upon them is based on the constant—but baseless—accusation that the Coptic Church is abducting and tormenting Coptic women who convert to Islam. Amazingly, it is precisely the opposite scenario—Muslims kidnapping Christian women and forcing them to convert to Islam—that is a notorious phenomenon in Egypt.....

A salute to the military, bedrock of American democracy

Thanks to the sacrifices of American soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines, the rule of law and respect for our Constitution are firmly established.

To say that the military is what makes America great could perhaps give other nations the wrong impression, but it is true all the same. This is not because Americans are a particularly militaristic people. Nor is it because other aspects of the national identity -- our freedoms, our ingenuity, our faith and our entrepreneurship -- are less important. Rather, it is because the right to practice all of these virtues has been purchased on battlefields, with the blood of those whom we commemorate on Memorial Day.

Report: FBI disregarded warnings about Mumbai jihad plotter from his own wives

Yes, "wives," one of whom he also had a "domestic violence" incident with, as described below. Just a little Qur'an 4:34 in action. -FBI ignored warnings on Headley's jihadist career,-

CHICAGO: Federal Bureau of Investigation detectives disregarded multiple warnings that the Pakistani-American jihadist David Headley was working with the Lashkar-e-Taiba — two of which came from his own wives.

The FBI, intelligence sources have told The Hindu, instead chose to believe Headley's claims that he had only made contact with the jihadist group to further his work as a counter-narcotics informant.

FBI officials, the sources said, were long aware of Headley's links with jihadists in Pakistan's north-west, and even interviewed him for information in the weeks after 9/11....

Attorneys from Israel and North America in a letter to UN Secretary General

 - The unilateral decision to establish a Palestinian State violates international law

Late last week, dozens of attorneys and experts in international law
appealed to United Nations Secretary General, Ban Ki-Moon to prevent the
General Assembly resolution recognizing a Palestinian state within the 1967
borders, on the grounds that it  violates of international law and
contravenes previous United Nations resolutions.

Tom Friedman's Kristallnacht

Never thought I’d see the day when the world’s most influential newspaper would take it upon itself to incite a pogrom -- but here it is in the pages of The New York Times, May 24/25, as Tom Friedman in his column “Lessons From Tahrir Square,”  finds inspiration from Julius Streicher’s Der Sturmer.

Streicher, in his newspaper of the 1930s, knew how to inflame and so does Friedman who has broken his pledge as a newsman to assume the role of an instigator.

Video- The TRUE Meaning of Memorial Day- Amazing Grace

At 3pm  EST we Reflect with a Moment of Silence to Remember those Serving- those who Served AND those HE GAVE THE Ultimate Sacrifice----Lest WE FORGET---- NEVER FORGET

By sharing their LOVE of Country -We Remember Travis, Brendan, Taylor...

-On behalf of a grateful nation-: The words immediately caught my attention on my second trip to the reception building at Dover Air Force base. They are a message from our nation to the families of fallen heroes, written across the wall at the building entrance.

My first trip was three years before, as our son Travis was returned to us from his second tour in Iraq after making the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our freedoms.

This time, we were with the family of Brendan Looney, Travis' dear friend and Naval Academy roommate; while deployed to Afghanistan as a Navy SEAL, Brendan also made the ultimate sacrifice.

Fallen: First Lt. Travis Manion, USMC (l), at US Naval Academy graduation with his roommate and friend Brendan Looney. Manion fell in Iraq, while Looney, who later trained as a Navy SEAL, died in Afghanistan.

The pain resurfaced -- it never goes away, but it was now vivid again. Nothing hurts worse. My wife and I understood the Loonies were dealing with something unbearable. We also knew there was no other place to be as Brendan returned home, doing whatever we could to help console and support this great American family as they dealt with this heartbreaking news.

The words on the wall have lingered with me since. Now, on Memorial Day, as we approach the 10th anniversary of 9/11, how does this "grateful nation" show its appreciation for the sacrifice of these brave patriots?

By remembering, not just the faceless names or the numbers etched in a tally report, but through understanding the essence and character of these heroes . . . sharing their love of country and their passion for service above self. ....

Here are a few that may help you better understand these brave patriots. ...

Sarah Palin’s ride through Washington on a Harley-Davidson /Update On Who Is Running

Sarah Palin Joins Bikers for ‘Ride to Freedom’

Sarah Palin’s ride through Washington on a Harley-Davidson Inc. (HOG) motorcycle yesterday as part of the Rolling Thunder “Ride for Freedom” put her back in the national spotlight as the race for the Republican presidential nomination is revving up.

The former Alaska governor joined about 400,000 bikers for the annual ride, which coincided with the first leg of a bus tour that is renewing speculation about her 2012 White House ambitions.

Palin, who had no official speaking role at the event, arrived wearing a helmet and rode on the back of a Harley from the Pentagon toward the Vietnam War Memorial. Rolling Thunder, ....

Ask me about my son's sacrifice....

-In the decade since we went to war, America has rediscovered how fortu nate we are to have good men and women willing to put themselves in harm's way so that we might remain free and safe. Some haven't lived to make the return trip home -- men like my own son, Army Staff Sgt. Robert J. Miller, who was recognized with the Medal of Honor for his actions in a battle in Afghanistan that cost him his life.

The great unspoken fear of families like mine is that the sacrifices of our loved ones will be forgotten once the parades and ceremonies and newspaper accounts fade away.

Military families are often called Blue Star families, after the banner that dates back to World War I -- one or more blue stars, each signifying an immediate family member in the military, on a white rectangle inside a red border. For the past two years, my family has proudly displayed a Blue Star banner in our front window and Blue Star decals on our cars, in honor of our second son, who followed his brother into the Army.

Three years ago, we replaced our original Blue Star banner with a Gold Star one, indicating an immediate family member who'd died in the service of this nation. My husband and I also wear Gold Star lapel pins, presented to each of us (as well as to our seven surviving children) at Rob's funeral. ...

UK training Saudi forces used to crush Arab spring

-On the one hand Saudi Arabia faces the threat of al-Qaeda but on the other its human rights record is dreadful. This is the constant dilemma you have when dealing with...-

Lets be truthful Arab Spring is ISLAMOCRACY-- and its the Quran- which one always a teeter totter between Bad and Horrid Human Rights and Atrocities- There is NO such thing as Equality for ALL regardless of Religion--or Of Government separated from this Vile Quranic Ideology.
Saudi special forces
• British military personnel run courses for snipers

Saudi special forces, seen here training in Mecca, were used to crush protests in neighbouring Bahrain.
Britain is training Saudi Arabia's national guard – the elite security force deployed during the recent protests in Bahrain – in public order enforcement measures and the use of sniper rifles. The revelation has outraged human rights groups, which point out that the Foreign Office recognises that the kingdom's human rights record is "a major concern".

In response to questions made under the Freedom of Information Act, the Ministry of Defence has confirmed that British personnel regularly run courses for the national guard in "weapons, fieldcraft and general military skills training, as well as incident handling, bomb disposal, search, public order and sniper training". The courses are organised through the British Military Mission to the Saudi Arabian National Guard, an obscure unit that consists of 11 British army personnel under the command of a brigadier.

President George W Bush Honors Memorial Day at Arlington National Cemetery

THE PRESIDENT: Thank you all. Laura and I are honored to join you today. Thank you for coming. Mr. Secretary, thank you for your kind words. Members of my

Cabinet, General Pace, Members of Congress, members of the United States military, veterans, honored guests and the loved ones of the fallen: A few moments ago, I placed a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns.

I was honored to do so on behalf of the American people, as a sign of our solemn gratitude and our deep respect. The names of those buried there are known only to God, yet their souls have entered into the spirit of America, and they will never be forgotten by our nation. (Applause.)

In this place where valor sleeps, we acknowledge our responsibility as Americans to preserve the memory of the fallen. On this Memorial Day, we look out on quiet hills, and rows of white headstones -- and we know that we are in the presence of greatness. (Applause.)

The markers here record the names of more than 296,000 men and women.

Each of the soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines buried here answered the call to serve, and stepped forward to protect the nation they loved.

All who are buried here understood their duty. They saw a dark shadow on the horizon, and went to meet it. They understood that tyranny must be met with resolve, and that liberty is always the achievement of courage. (Applause.)

Here, in the presence of veterans they fought with and loved ones whose pictures they carried, the fallen

give silent witness to the price of our liberty -- and our nation honors them, this day and every day. (Applause.)

In this place where valor sleeps, we are reminded why America has always gone to war reluctantly, because we know the costs of war. We have seen those costs in the war on terror we fight today. ...

Pres.George Bush -Memorial Day Ceremony Nettuno Italy

May 28, 1989 -

Mr. Prime Minister, thank you for honoring us today at this service. We gather today to mark Memorial Day in America, to honor the thousands of young men and women buried here and elsewhere who put themselves in harm's way so that others might live in freedom.

As we gather, it's dawn in America, Memorial Day weekend, the first days of summer. And soon, the screen doors will slam; parks are going to sound with the crack of the baseball bat; children's voices will rise in the summer breeze pungent with the scent of barbecue smoke. And the rites of summer are marked by American tradition. As morning comes to Indianapolis, the smells of coffee and gasoline will mingle in the heat rising off that sun-baked raceway. And further west, there's going to be another race, as the blast of a ship's whistle sends the riverboats Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer steaming down the Mississippi off the docks of St. Louis.

Memorial Day weekend -- by the time today's ceremony concludes, the first rays of sunlight will streak across the Potomac, flashing first atop the monument to the founder of our Republic, then reaching down to touch the silent rows of white markers on the green Virginia hillside that is Arlington Cemetery. And soon the gathering light will reveal a lone figure, a man in uniform, standing guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, a round-the-clock vigil unbroken in more than 50 years. Another moment and the dawn will flood the park that lays beneath the gaze of Lincoln, embracing the candles that flicker each night along the walls of the Vietnam Memorial. And soon the plaintive sound of taps will rise in the wind in cities and hamlets all across America, heard by veterans of four wars as they gather to salute the fallen. In town after town, the ritual at sunrise will be the same, as first the flag is raised, then slowly lowered to half-mast.

Ronald Regan- Memorial Day Message to Americans...

"...that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion, that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain, that this nation under God, ...and that government of the people by the people and for the people shall not perish from the earth." --Abraham Lincoln

Memorial Day is a time to take stock of the present, reflect on the past, and renew our commitment to the future of America.

Today, as in the past, there are problems that must be solved and challenges that must be met. We can tackle them with our full strength and creativity only because we are free to work them out in our own way. We owe this freedom of choice and action to those men and women in uniform who have served this nation and its interests in time of need. In particular, we are forever indebted to those who have given their lives that we might be free.

I don't have to tell you how fragile this precious gift of freedom is. Every time we hear, watch, or read the news, we are reminded that liberty is a rare commodity in this world.....

The 5 Stages of Islam- In Western Democracy---Just so YOU KNOW

What is happening and where we are at---and headed :

Forget the Five Pillars of Islam. It is the Five Stages of Islam that threaten the fundamental freedoms of Western Democracy. Freedoms which include freedom of thought, expression, and association and the crucial derived right of freedom of the press. We should never forget that "Islam" means submission -- the opposite of self-determination and Enlightenment values.

Six years ago Dr. Peter Hammond published a remarkable book which included a statistical study of the correlation between Muslim to non-Muslim population ratios and the transition from conciliatory Islam to fascist Islam. The stages are the same in 2011 but the demographics have changed to show an alarming progression. Many European nations and the U.S. are on the cusp of moving to a higher bracket. The demographics change but the story is the same. First comes the taqiyya and the kitman; then comes the Sword of Islam. Imam Rauf, the Ground Zero Mosque promoter, is the current master of taqiyya. He has gulled everyone from Bloomberg to Maureen Dowd of the NYT -- who fantasizes over male Muslims. Expect doppelgangers of Khomeini for stage 5 and Islamic PEACE at last.

Stage 1. Establish a Beachhead

Population density à 2% (US, Australia, Canada).

Muslims are conciliatory, deferential but request harmless special treatment (foot bath facilities, removal/elimination of that which is offensive to delicate Muslim sensibilities - like walking dogs near Mosques)......

Stage 2. Establish Outposts

This Memorial Day, May 30, 2011

In Honor of all the Brave Soldiers.

First the history, then video and a solemn prayer..

Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation's service. There are many stories as to its actual beginnings, with over two dozen cities and towns laying claim to being the birthplace of Memorial Day.

There is also evidence that organized women's groups in the South were decorating graves before the end of the Civil War: a hymn published in 1867, "Kneel Where Our Loves are Sleeping" by Nella L. Sweet carried the dedication "To The Ladies of the South who are Decorating the Graves of the Confederate Dead" (Source: Duke University's Historic American Sheet Music, 1850-1920)

Syrian rebels asked Israel for help

Pro-democracy activists and rebels in Syria recently asked Israel, their nation's worst enemy, to come to their aid, according to an Israeli government official.

Netanyahu Quotes Expert Who Said He ‘Eviscerated Obama’ :: Netanyahu Rallies around ‘United Jerusalem’

Bibi Netanyahu we are proud of you.

Upon his return from Washington, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu made use of the Cabinet meeting Sunday to quote U.S. foreign affairs expert Walter Russell Mead, who wrote that “Israel is an American value.” (nice article Walter)

Mead, Editor-at-Large of The American Interest and former Senior Fellow for U.S. Foreign Policy at the Council on Foreign Relations, also wrote that Netanyahu had “eviscerated” President Barack Obama in their latest match-up, and the fact that Netanyahu quoted him could be an indication of his own assessment of his Washington visit.

Israel Thanks Canada for Defense at G8 Summit

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman made sure to pick up the phone and call his counterpart in Ottawa this weekend to thank him for Canada's stance at the G8 summit last week.

Lieberman told John Baird, who recently came into the post, that Canada is a “true friend of Israel.”

Israel's foreign minister added that Prime Minister Stephen Harper had been correct in his reading of the situation to know that the 1967-1949 Armistice lines are incompatible with the demographic realities in the Jewish State – and are indefensible as borders.

Lebanese Businessman: Send ‘Filthy Jews’ to their True Countries

Take notice - end of this article, the arabs say "we will never be able to make peace with them"  What have we been saying all the time?????

A Lebanese businessman has called to throw the Jews “back to their true countries.”

In a recent interview on the Hizbullah terror group's Al-Manar television network which was translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), Yasser Qashlaq, a journalist who also heads the Free Palestine Movement, said: “The natural place for [Ehud] Barak is Poland, and the natural place for that idiot, Netanyahu, is Moscow, while the natural place for me is Safed [Tzfat -ed.].”

Qashlaq goes on to say, “I would like to say to Ben-Gurion: You little boy, tomorrow, my little son will stomp on your grave. He will deport your remains to your true country in Europe, and we will return.

Leftists Openly Demand US Pressure on Israel

Not again!! Leftists ignorance, ignorance is bliss -   'Yehoshua said that “the settlements are the root of the problem''  -  so Mr. Brains Israel gives the ''palestinians Judea and Samaria for the good of an Arab state(terror state)
muslims, all over the word, will stop bombing and planning bomb attacks, muslims will stop persecuting Christians in muslim lands, muslims will stop trying to rule and dominate western countries, muslims will peacefully get along with their lives and allow everyone else to do the same.......WRONG.  This just shows the Israel, 'palestinian' conflict is not about land, but about domination.  That's Islam.

The author A.B. Yehoshua became the latest leftist to openly wish for the United States to act against Israeli directly, in order to pressure the government to surrender land in Judea and Samaria for the good of an Arab state to be established on land Israel liberated from Jordanian occupation in the 1967 Six Day War. Speaking at a meeting of the Geneva Initiative over the weekend, Yehoshua, discussing Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's visit to the U.S. last week, that “it's a shame that the President did not condition American aid to Israel on an end to the settlements.”

An Anti-Israel President - The president's peace proposal is a formula for war.

Say what you will about President Obama's approach to Israel—
or of his relationship with American Jews—
he sure has mastered the concept of chutzpah.

On Thursday at the State Department, the president gave his big speech on the Middle East, in which he invoked the claims of friendship to tell Israelis "the truth," which to his mind was that "the status quo is unsustainable, and Israel too must act boldly to advance a lasting peace." On Friday in the Oval Office, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu offered his version of the truth, which was that the 1967 border proposed by Mr. Obama as a basis for negotiating the outlines of a Palestinian state was a nonstarter.

When Muslims Gain Majority- Sad Stories of Hindu in Pakistan- And the World's Future

You KNOW about the Oppression and Persecution of Jewish and the Christian...Lets read some real life Horror Stories of Hindu in an Islamic World--- Pakistan was once part of India--but this is how Islam Spreads via Population and Jihad....(see world atlas below the Sad reality of suffering Hindu Minority in Paki.

In March, Poonam, a 13-year-old Hindu girl kidnapped last year, was forced to convert in the Lyari area of Karachi in Pakistan's Sindh province. Her parents were stunned by the influence the maulvis (Islamic scholars) had over their daughter. "She was very scared. She told us that she was now going to live with them as a Muslim," Poonam's uncle, Bhanwar, 61, told India Today. Poonam is now Mariam.

No one protested against Poonam's conversion because almost every Hindu family in Lyari has endured religious persecution for years. Kidnapping is routine in Pakistan. But what has shaken the 2.7 million-strong Hindu community in a nation of 168 million Muslims are recent forced conversions of young girls. Many see the incidents as a conspiracy to drive Hindus out of Pakistan.

"We are very worried. We have started sending our young children either to India or to other countries. We are also planning to migrate soon," says 46-year-old Sanyo Meghwar from Nawabshah in Sindh province. He has reason to panic. Research done by local agencies says that on average 25 Hindu girls are kidnapped and converted every month in Pakistan......

As Memorial Day Beckons---- Preserve and Honor-

... soldiers pay respect to war dead

As the nation prepared to celebrate Memorial Day, some U.S. soldiers partook in a far more somber ritual: Visiting the grave sites of fallen comrades.

Staff Sgt. Bradley Falls, an Afghanistan veteran, said he deemed it an honor to come to Virginia's Arlington National Cemetery and plant fresh, crisp flags in the burial plots of soldiers past.

“It’s especially an honor for us when you've been on the other side of it and now you can come here and you can bring honor to their final resting place,” Falls said.

“We all know somebody buried here personally,” he said as he leaned down and jabbed a small flag into the soil.

Galloway Meets With Another Terrorist Group

Galloway - no better than the terorist
What a jerk

George Galloway, the leader and founder of the UK-based group Viva Palestina[1], met with leaders of Palestinian Islamic Jihad while in Beirut, Lebanon this week, according to an article that ran in Arabic in the news outlet Palestine Today on Tuesday.

Galloway, a former member of parliament, flew to Beirut to accept the TAKREEM Award for Exceptional Contribution to Arab Society.

The Investigative Project on Terrorism's translation[2] of the Arabic article reveals that Galloway visited the office of Abu Imad Rifai, the representative[3] of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad in Lebanon. Three others accompanied Galloway, including Viva Palestina leader Kevin Ovenden, and Rov Hoveman, a Viva Palestina spokesman and former assistant[4] to Galloway when he served as a British MP. Several other leaders of PIJ in Lebanon received Galloway and his delegation.

Hamas Back to Normal, Attacks Western Negev with Missile

Hamas managed to hold its fire for a month before unleashing another missile attack on the western Negev Saturday night. No one was injured.

An IDF spokeswoman told Israel National News the military has not responded, so far, to the Kassam attack, the first in several weeks since Hamas terrorists fired an advanced anti-tank missile at a school bus, killing one teenager.

Five Simple Truths about the Mideast Conflict---Plus Pat Condell on Anti Semitism

I wish we ALL would start calling it the Muslim Aggression towards Israel !

- Is there any subject more controversial than the question of the legitimacy of the modern State of Israel? Is it the eternal home of the Jewish people, promised to them by God Himself? Or is it the illegitimate home of violent Jewish occupiers, an apartheid state guilty of ethnic cleansing? Or is it something in between? In the midst of the often emotional arguments on both sides, it is helpful to review five simple truths about the Mideast conflict.

1. There is no such thing as a historic “Palestinian people” living in the Middle East. To be sure, there have been Arabs living in the land of Palestine for centuries. (The land of Israel was derisively renamed “Palestine” by the Romans in the second century A.D.). And it is true that some of these families have lived in Palestine without interruption for many generations. But at no time before 1967 did these Arabs identify themselves as “Palestinians,” nor did they seek to achieve any kind of statehood there. As expressed by former terrorist Walid Shoebat, “Why is it that on June 4th 1967 I was a Jordanian and overnight I became a Palestinian?”

Before 1967, there was no such thing as Arab, Palestinian nationalism.....

A Memorial Day Stories From Iraq and Afganistan

In In Honor of Memorial Day , each Day of the Weekend a Story of loss, redemption, and healing

Below the Second in a series of 3 -From People who lost loved ones to war- and who honor those who serve and tangibly help others.

If you go to this Face book Page you can share your OWN http://facebook.com/christiansciencemonitor

The increasing number of homes with gold stars in the window, the sign that a military son or daughter has been lost, is a sad measure of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

But many who've lost someone also have found something redemptive in the loss – not only honoring those who serve but tangibly helping others as well.

It can be as simple as care packages to those serving in dangerous and uncomfortable circumstances. Or maybe it follows the dream of a fallen soldier. And as time passes, for some at least, it helps ease the loss, becoming part of their own healing.

A Memorial Day machine: dirt racing for fallen Special Ops soldiers

Special Ops soldiers hold a special place for Mike Evock, who has added the names of the 277 killed in the war on terror to the top of his down-home dirt racer.

For Mike Evock (l.) and his pit-crew buddies – current and retired Special Ops soldiers – race car No. 773 is part hobby, part catharsis, part point of pride.

Gray's Creek, N.C.

When Special Operations soldier Mike Evock began thinking about retiring from a war that had cut short his youth, he looked to the myriad oval dirt racetracks that dot the South. Skidding sideways on the track could help distract a mind and hands used to warfare.

The result so far is a spotty racing record – but one powerful, crash-tested memorial: Mr. Evock’s 2,100-pound, 715-horsepower dirt-track car carries the names of the 277 Special Ops soldiers who died fighting the war on terror over the past eight years. Evock, who attained the rank of chief warrant officer in the Army, knew some of the fallen personally.

The car, No. 773, is named for Evock’s last Special Ops unit: Operational Detachment Alpha 773, based at Fort Bragg in North Carolina. Evock and his crew have put the names of the soldiers on hand-shaped sheets, which are now the car’s top panels.

Palestine Declares Independence and Its Currency Is: the Israeli Shekel?

They can't even look after themselves and want Independence.

Worldwide euphoria has been generated by the Palestinian threat to "declare independence" in September 2011. Never mind that Palestine no longer has a legitimately elected parliament or president, thus no legitimate government. From Syria westward, the Arabs are governed by illegitimate regimes. Why not add one more?

Money, however, is a reality that no euphoria can survive. The money that circulates under the Palestinian Authority (PA) is the Israeli new shekel. The interest rates set monthly by the Bank of Israel dictate Palestinian financial policy. As long as this continues, Palestinian claims of "independence" will be a sham, a joke.

How much of a joke it will be was recently underlined by the quick collapse of a Palestinian publicity stunt. In March 2011, two clever dicks in Ramallah started an internet campaign calling on Palestinians to write "Free Palestine" on Israeli banknotes. The scheme collapsed within forty-eight hours when the Palestinian banks, none other, announced that they would refuse to honor the defaced currency. Why? Because they were concerned that Israeli banks would not honor it. As in many countries, it is a crime in Israel to write anything on banknotes. Whoever did write "Free Palestine" on the money in their pockets just made it worthless.

Consider also this: banks are constantly in need of new cash, and not merely because banknotes wear out and coins get lost. So one of the commodities that Israel supplies to Gaza, along with flour and toilet paper, is freshly printed shekel notes. Without them, Gaza's Hamas government would see economic life under its rule gradually becoming paralyzed. Israel has to supply its currency to Gaza and Hamas cannot refuse it.

Curiously, for the 2006 parliamentary elections Hamas adopted a platform that included a pledge to "mint Palestinian currency." But Hamas shelved that pledge when it formed a government after winning the elections; it has ignored it since seizing absolute power in Gaza in 2007.

It is amazing that amid all the buzz in the "international community" about whether Palestine is ready for independence, the question of a currency for Palestine has not been featured at all. Now that the head of the International Monetary Fund has been thrown into jail, the question is even less likely to be considered.

Apart from the occasional academic study, the only people who seem to have taken the problem seriously are a few officials in the Palestinian Monetary Authority (PMA). This is a body that most people have never heard of. It was set up as part of the Oslo Accords with the remit of authorizing and supervising banks under the PA. Should Palestine genuinely become independent, the PMA would have to be transformed into its central bank.

Last January, the PMA made a briefly noticed announcement that it was planning the creation of a Palestinian currency. So far as is known, however, Palestinian banknotes are not being printed secretly in preparation for a big surprise in September 2011. The only decision made was to choose a name: the Palestinian pound. That is, they wish to revive the currency of the British Mandate in Palestine. It is another manifestation of the fundamental Palestine aspiration of turning the clock back to a time when Israel did not exist.

Most Palestinians would doubtless embrace the Palestinian pound with the same enthusiasm as met the "Free Palestine" campaign. And they would not realize, until maybe too late, that they might be endangering not just some notes in their pockets but their whole financial existence.

At present, as determined also by the Oslo Accords, three currencies are legal tender under the Palestinian authority: the Israeli new shekel, the Jordanian dinar and the US dollar. With the revival of the Palestinian pound, it is to be expected that the PA, out of national pride, will declare this to be the only permitted currency and demand that all bank accounts be converted into it. Thereafter, all would depend on Palestinian financial probity, which is not a highly valued item. If the Palestinian pound collapsed in the manner of the Zimbabwean dollar, the savings of Palestinians could be wiped out.

Recall that after Hamas and Fatah signed a reconciliation agreement in April 2011, the Israeli finance minister briefly suspended the transfer to the PA of tax revenues collected on its behalf. The result was that the Palestinian government, which is the biggest employer by far under the PA, could not pay monthly salaries for May 2011. Had the Palestinian pound been in place, no problem: the Palestinians could just have printed lots more money. Of course, the exchange rate of their currency would then have plummeted against all others.

Israel's suspension of those transfers aroused the world. Less remembered today are much more serious and prolonged suspensions of Palestinian finance. After the Hamas won the Palestinian elections of 2006 and a Hamas-led government took over, not just Israel but also the US, Canada and the EU froze all funds to the PA. The resulting financial crisis forced the Hamas prime minister to resign in January 2007. Then a unity government briefly existed until June 2007, after which Hamas ruled Gaza but was suppressed in the West Bank. These developments enabled the donors to resume the supply of funds to the PA

The EU has also used the threat of suspending financial aid to pressure the PA to reduce an ever-growing number of public sector employees. Were the PA to be paying them with its own currency, however, the greater pressure would come from a Palestinian public eager for state jobs.

For many European political decision makers, the existence of any such problem has been obscured by the introduction of the euro a decade ago. If, say, the government of the Basque region of Spain were to declare unilateral independence, then independent Euskadi might face many obstacles, but a currency would not be one of them. It would obviously continue to use the euro as at present.

Indeed, this was the model adopted by the Kosovo government in its bid for independence in 2008. It had already adopted the German mark in 1999 and made the switch to the euro along with Germany. This was relatively easy, since the other countries in the area of Kosovo have either already adopted the euro, like its neighbour Montenegro, or aspire to do so in the future.

Palestine, however, is a long way from the euro zone and even further from the US. Consider its neighbors. The Israeli new shekel has fluctuated considerably against the euro and the US dollar, but it has been strengthening against both in recent years. On the other hand, the Jordanian dinar has gradually declined from about 1.6 euro a decade ago to 1.0 euro at present. The Egyptian pound has fallen by nearly two thirds against the euro in that time.

Obviously, the economies of all three countries are far from being in synch with the euro or with each other. In particular, if Egypt had been on the euro, it would have been forced to adopt the same drastic measures as Greece currently, precipitating an earlier collapse of the Mubarak regime. But even the pound sterling has fluctuated markedly against the euro, although only twenty miles separate the UK from France. The channel tunnel has not prevented that.

All this shows that the euro or dollar is a non-starter for Palestine, although the head of the PMA has floated the idea of pegging the Palestinian pound to one of them. Sooner or later, the pegging would come unstuck, probably with a big crash. There would also be rich pickings to be made by Palestinian insiders. Remember how George Soros reportedly made a billion dollars, betting on the collapse of the pegging of the pound sterling to the European Currency Unit (the predecessor of the euro). That pegging had survived a mere two years.

Likewise, even if Palestine adopted a neighboring currency, this would have various major consequences, depending on the choice made. Besides the fluctuations mentioned, the there are differences of GDP. The GDP of the Palestinian territories is currently about a quarter of that of Jordan; it is a mere thirtieth of that of either Israel or Egypt. Thus Palestine would have limited impact within a currency union with Jordan; it has none in its current union with Israel.

On the other hand, any replacement of the Israeli new shekel would disrupt many financial transactions that are currently easy. These include not just the disruptions that would occur if European countries reverted from the euro to national currencies. There would also be complications for the cosy arrangements that accompany EU donations to the PA.

At present, the EU contributes large amounts of money for Palestinian government salaries. The Palestinians spend a lot of that money on Israeli products, while Israelis spend a lot of their money on European ones. So Israel has a large trade surplus with Palestine and a large deficit with the EU, but everyone is happy except, maybe, some European taxpayers. Obviously, the use of the Israeli currency by Palestinians facilitates this cycle of payments.

All in all, the currency is a major issue for any kind of independent Palestine. So far, it has been ignored by the relevant political decision makers, whether locally or internationally. As long as that is the case, talk of Palestinian independence remains a bluff.
